GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS DEMANDED FROM ALL MEMBERS OF THIS LEAGUE. Absolutely NO harassment will be allowed during game play from coaches, parents or any fan attending our League games. (Reference SGSL General Rule #1.)

Games will be 1:15 (One Hour and Fifteen Minutes) or six (6) innings in length, whichever comes first. If an inning is started, if must be finished, unless the completion would not be a factor in determining the winner.

Playing field dimensions will be as follows:

1) Pitching distance will be 40 feet.

2) Base distance will be 60 feet.

3) The pitching circle will be 16 feet in diameter.

4) ASA approved fast pitch catcher helmets, masks, chest protector and shin guards will be worn by the catcher during all warm-ups and practices on all fields and games. Chin straps are optional and face guards are required on all batting helmets.

5) Will use 12” ball.

Pitching styles must conform to ASA Rules.

Batter may run after third drop strike; if 1^st base is not occupied.

Four (4) walks per inning are allowed, then batter must hit or can strike out. Maximum of five (5) runs per inning.

Courtesy runner for catcher is mandatory with two (2) outs. Courtesy runner should be the batter who made the last out.

Teams will start with ten (10) players on the lineup card. Should a team only have nine players present you may play with (9) without an out for the tenth (10^th) position. (A team may not play with less than nine (9) players). A team with only 8 players is a forfeit.

With 5 minutes remaining on the official time clock NO “TIMEOUTS” may be taken and no new inning will start.

After regulation time has expired and the score is tied, the international tiebreaker rule (I.T.B.) will be in effect for one (1) inning ONLY for this age division. If the game is still tied at the end of the I.T.B. inning then the game is completed and the score will remain tied. (ITB – last batter from previous inning will be placed on 2^nd base.)

Playoff game will be a full six innings or 1 hour and 30 minute games.
