GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS DEMANDED FROM ALL MEMBERS OF THIS LEAGUE. Absolutely NO harassment will be allowed during the game play from coaches, parents or any fan attending our League games. (Reference SGSL Rule 1.)

Games will be 1:15 (One Hour and Fifteen Minutes) or six (6) innings in length, whichever comes first. If an inning is started, it must be finished, unless the completion would not be a factor in determining the winner.

Playing field dimensions will be as follows:

1) Pitching distance will be 35 feet.

2) Base distance will be 55 feet.

3) The pitching circle will be 16 feet in diameter.

4) ASA approved fast pitch catcher helmets, masks, chest protector and shin guards will be worn by the catcher during all warm-ups, practices on all fields and games. Chin straps are optional and face guards are required on ALL batting helmets.

5) Will Use 11” ball in the fall.

Pitching styles must be a flat pitch slow, windmill or sling shot.

Base runners may steal one base only, once the ball is released from the pitchers hand. NO stealing home.

NO Dropped 3^rd strike Rule in this age division. 1.) Ball is dead. 2.) Runner cannot advance. 3.) Batter is out.

This is NO infield fly in this division.

Four (4) walk rule. (Then the coach will pitch 3 (Three) pitches only, either hit or batter’s out). Maximum of five (5) runs per inning.

Courtesy runner for catcher is mandatory with two (2) outs. Courtesy runner should be the batter who made the last out.

Teams will start with ten (10) players on the lineup card. Should a team only have nine players present you may play with (9) without an out for the tenth (10^th) position. (A team may not play with less than nine (9) players). A team of only 8 players is a forfeit.

With 5 minutes remaining on the official time clock NO “TIMEOUTS” may be taken.

After regulation time has expired and the score is tied, the international tiebreaker rule (I.T.B.) will be in effect for one (1) inning ONLY for this age division. If the game is still tied at the end of the one (1) I.T.B. inning then the game is completed and the score will remain tied. (ITB – last batter from previous inning will be placed on 2^nd base.)

Playoff games will be a full six innings or 1 hour and 30 minute games.

SUBSTITUTION CANNOT BE MADE UNTIL TOP OF 3^RD INNING, UNLESS PLAYER IS INJURED/ILLNESS. (read your general rules, each child must play 2 innings)

NO ONE INSIDE THE DUGOUT OR ON THE FIELD WITHOUT A TEAM SHIRT ON
