GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS DEMANDED FROM ALL MEMBERS OF THIS LEAGUE. Absolutely NO harassment

will be allowed during the game play from coaches, parents or any fan attending our League games.

(Reference SGSL Rule 1.)

Playing field dimensions will be as follows:

1) Pitching distance will be 35 feet.

2) Base distance will be 55 feet.

3) The pitching circle will be 16 feet in diameter.

4) ASA approved fast pitch catcher helmets, masks, chest protector and shin guards will be worn by the catcher

during all warm-ups, practices on all fields and games. Face guards are required on ALL batting helmets.

Pitcher will pitch with 11” balls.

Pitching styles allowed: 1) Slow Pitch – must be a flat pitch, 2) Windmill, 3) Slingshot

Base runners may steal one base only, per pitch, once the ball crosses the plate. NO STEALING HOME.

NO Dropped 3^rd strike Rule in this age division.

1. Ball is dead.

2. Runner cannot advance.

3. Batter is out.

7.

There is NO infield fly in this division.

Four (4) walks per inning. Then the coach will come in to pitch. Each batter will only receive three (3) pitches ONLY, must hit or batter is out. Maximum of five (5) runs per inning.

Courtesy runner for catcher is mandatory with two (2) outs. Courtesy runner should be the batter who made the last out.

Teams will start with ten (10) players on the lineup card. Should a team only have nine players present you may play with (9) without an out for the tenth (10^th) position. (A team may not play with less than nine (9) players). 8 PLAYERS AT GAME TIME IS A FORFEIT!

With 5 minutes remaining on the official time clock NO “TIMEOUTS” may be taken and a new inning will NOT start with less than 5 minutes play.

After regulation time has expired and the score is tied, the international tiebreaker rule (I.T.B.) will be in effect for one

(1) Inning ONLY for this age division. If the game is still tied at the end of the one (1) I.T.B. inning then the game is

(2) Completed and the score will remain tied. (ITB – last batter from previous inning will be placed on 2nd base.)

SUBSTITUTION CANNOT BE MADE UNTIL TOP OF 3^RD INNING, UNLESS PLAYER IS INJURED/ILLNESS. (read your general rules, each child must play 2 innings)

NO ONE (PARENT, YOUTH OR PLAYER) INSIDE DUGOUT WITHOUT TEAM SHIRT ON.

ONLY 3 COACHES IN DUGOUT.
